The government Next years high school exam will be digital

Khaberni - The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Samirat, announced that the high school certificate exam for next year will be digital, noting that it was supposed to be a "digital exam this year", but reasons caused a delay.

Samirat explained during his talk on "Eye FM" radio that the halls and computers were prepared for the exam to be digital this year, but circumstances caused the delay to the next year.

He mentioned that the ministry focuses on improving the quality of services offered to citizens and increasing the pace of digitizing government services. He explained that the government is also working on improving previously digitized services, and noted that the government is trying to minimize human intervention when re-engineering processes.

Samirat clarified that the procedures have been re-engineered in the Greater Amman Municipality, and work is ongoing to fully digitize its services as they represent contact points with the citizens. He indicated that the rest of the kingdom's municipalities will also have their services digitized, along with the Department of Lands and Survey.

He pointed out that the digital identity is now ready and legislated, and operates like the old identity, after being approved under the law by the House of Representatives. He noted that 500,000 digital identities have been activated within four months.

He added that identification cards for people with special needs will be included in the "Support" application, and work is ongoing to activate them, adding that most government institutions have become more inclined to include their services through the "Support" application.

Samirat affirmed that the academy, like any university or educational center, needs a plan for distance learning, explaining that work is underway on a full subject system in the government, including a digital learning system to facilitate the delivery of lessons or programs to its members.
