Khaberni - The Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II visited, on Tuesday, the Directorate of the Royal Engineering Corps.
In the presence of the Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, he listened to a briefing presented by the Director of the Engineering Corps about the role of the corps in supporting various units and formations of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army.
The explanation addressed the operational duties carried out by the Engineering Corps during the recent regional developments, and its role in dealing with the repercussions and warheads resulting from them, in order to maintain the security of the homeland and the safety of the citizens.
The Crown Prince toured an exhibition of modern equipment and vehicles used by the Engineering Corps, and was briefed on the most prominent technologies used in dealing with various challenges.
He conveyed the greetings of King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the members of the Engineering Corps, praising their professionalism and efficiency, highlighting the significant role played by the soldiers of the Arab Army in their various positions.
