Khaberni - The Cabinet approved in its session held on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, the Notarial Transaction Fee System for the year 2026, which offers reduced fees for electronic payment, and the system for the use of electronic means in notary transactions for the year 2026.
The two system projects are implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Notary Law, which stipulates the authorization of using electronic means and visual and auditory communication systems in the tasks and competencies performed by the notary, pursuant to the provisions of the law.
Both systems regulate the procedures in the event of using these means when completing notary transactions, aiming to harmonize the provisions of notarial transaction fees with economic and legislative developments and ensure their suitability with the nature of the provided services and the sustainability of the financial resources associated with judicial services, supporting the principles of governance.
The two system projects support the digital transformation processes in notary services through enabling the electronic payment of fees and offering reduced fees for electronic payment transactions, thereby facilitating the citizens' access and integrating them with the related governmental systems, contributing to the acceleration of transaction processing and the development of services provided to the citizens.
