Khaberni - US Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed a list including 305 prominent individuals whose names appeared in the «Epstein Files», among them American billionaire Bill Gates.
Bondi announced that the complete files were released in compliance with Article 3 of the «Epstein File Transparency Act», noting in a message to Congress dated February 14, that the list includes individuals who «hold or have held government positions or are considered prominent political figures», and their names appeared in the published files «at least once».
The Justice Department confirmed that federal employees spent long hours sorting through more than three million files, which were published in batches during December and January.
«Daily Mail» reveals shocking footage
The British newspaper Daily Mail published details and footage described as «disgusting», revealing a dark aspect of the methods Epstein used to lure his victims.
According to the newspaper, the published batch included more than 180,000 images and about 2,000 video tapes, totaling approximately 14 hours of footage, which provides a view of what it described as the «corrupt operation» run by Epstein.
It indicated that the files show a repeated pattern of requesting sexually explicit content from young girls, in addition to clips displaying abusive behaviors and clear exploitation of the victims. The files also included pornographic material believed to have been uploaded onto Epstein's personal computer, among them an old video titled «Tiny Bubbles».
Luring under the guise of fashion
The «Daily Mail» revealed that some clips support the hypothesis that Epstein lured his victims by pretending to be a talent scout associated with the fashion world, exploiting the name of the company «Victoria’s Secret» to lend false legitimacy to his actions.
The footage also included scenes of Epstein at social events accompanied by young girls, and others described as «disturbing» within luxurious homes, including his residence in Paris.
The newspaper explained that it edited the published materials to conceal the identities of the victims as much as possible, in addition to the adjustments made by the Justice Department prior to publishing the files.
Between appearing in the files and the presumption of innocence
Despite the prominent names listed, Bondi and her deputy emphasized that the appearance of any individual in the «Epstein Files» does not necessarily indicate proven involvement or conviction in the crimes associated with the case, but rather that the name may have appeared in multiple contexts.
As the flow of documents continues to become public, questions about the political and legal repercussions escalate, in a case that continues to cast a heavy shadow over the world of politics, finance, and celebrities.
