Khaberni - The US authorities spent 32 years searching for a child who disappeared mysteriously and dangerously, until she was recently found in good health, in what resembles a miracle.
According to details published by the British newspaper "Metro" and reviewed by "Alarabiya.net", the girl was 13 years old when she disappeared "without a trace" in 1994, and was found alive 32 years after her disappearance.
The newspaper stated that Christina Marie Blunt was 13 years old when she was last seen walking to the stable where she kept her horse, in May of the year 1994.
Her disappearance led to a massive search operation and a mystery that remained unsolved for 32 years.
When she disappeared in May 1994, officials in Star Valley, Arizona, suspected she might have been kidnapped. They classified her disappearance as occurring under "dangerous and suspicious circumstances".
Volunteers joined the police in an attempt to track her down, but despite "extensive field searches, interviews, and follow-up investigations", the police were unable to find any trace of her. All they could say was that she was wearing a white shirt, multicolored shorts, and black sports shoes.
The "Metro" newspaper reports that using modern investigation techniques, the investigators found new leads, and finally, a breakthrough occurred in the case, confirmed by the police chief this week.
The investigators stated that they "confirmed her identity, and her disappearance case was officially resolved".
They added that "out of respect for Christina's privacy and safety, no further details will be disclosed".
