Khaberni - The Mansoura Criminal Court begins today, Sunday, the trial of a woman charged with human trafficking, after her plan to seize her deceased husband's estate through forging the lineage of two unknown children was revealed.
The roots of the crime date back to 2014, when the accused decided to buy two children, "Lin and Mohamed", in collaboration with an unknown person, in preparation to falsely attribute them to her late husband.
The goal of this crime was not motherhood, but purely a financial purpose to monopolize the entire inheritance and exclude other legitimate heirs.
Investigations by the public prosecution revealed behind-the-scenes of the accused’s breach into official institutions, as she exploited a public employee "in good faith" to extract two forged birth certificates.
The matter did not stop there, as she managed to issue an official guardianship decision number 117 of 2022 from the Family Affairs Prosecution, using those forged documents to establish her status as a "mother" before the law.
The public prosecution directly charged the woman with human trafficking, through purchasing and exploiting children for material benefit, and forgery in official documents, after accusing her of tampering with birth certificates and guardianship decisions.
In addition, she exposed the children's lives to danger by placing them in an illegitimate environment that threatens their security and safety, pushing them towards the unknown.
Not only did the accused forge documents, but she also appeared confidently before the concerned authorities to complete her plan, disregarding the children's rights to legitimate lineage and a safe life, in order to obtain the inheritance, before her scheme and forgery were uncovered.
