Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited on Monday, the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, accompanied by His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince.
His Majesty was briefed on the operational, training, and logistical aspects being implemented by the armed forces to achieve the highest levels of readiness.
The Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, confirmed that the armed forces have initiated the first steps to prepare a comprehensive strategy and a clear roadmap for restructuring the Arab Army over the next three years, according to royal directives, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of the armed forces and raising their readiness to deal with various challenges and future circumstances.
Major General Al-Huneiti emphasized the armed forces' commitment to ensuring a balance between different operational environments and the integration of various branches and formations, to keep up with the requirements of modern combat and unconventional warfare and to enhance the capabilities of reserve forces, focusing on updating command, control, and communications systems.
His Majesty the King expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the members of the armed forces in their various positions, asserting his pride in the significant role they play in preserving the security and stability of the nation.
