Khaberni - The Civil Defense Directorate renewed its emphasis on the necessity to adhere to safety procedures while using heating devices, following the unfortunate incidents that occurred in recent days, which resulted in injuries and deaths due to gas leaks from heaters and the toxic gases emitted from them.
The Directorate emphasized the danger of sleeping while heaters are lit, of all types, stressing the necessity to close the main gas valve at the source (the cylinder), especially when using heaters lacking gas proportion sensors or leak detection.
The Directorate also called on citizens to ventilate their homes periodically to renew the air and reduce the accumulation of harmful gases, to ensure their safety and the safety of their families.
