Identifying Transport Lines Serving the Irbid Medical Complex

Khaberni - The Land Transport Regulatory Authority has identified the locations of public transport lines that serve the medical complex in Irbid province for the purpose of organizing routes and facilitating access for visitors and medical staff to the health facilities experiencing high foot traffic around the clock.

Mohammed Al-Alawneh, the director of the authority's office in Irbid, said that the complex includes the new Princess Basma Teaching Hospital, outpatient clinics, Princess Rahma Hospital for Children, and Princess Badiya Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics, which necessitates providing organized and effective transportation services to meet the needs of citizens.

He explained that the measures included designating a stop for each transport line for loading and unloading only, which contributes to enhancing the flow of traffic around the complex and reducing random congestion.

Al-Alawneh pointed out that the distribution of stops was carried out according to technical standards that take into account the distances between hospital entrances, ensuring passenger comfort and helping to speed up the movement of buses on the surrounding roads.
