Khaberni - The value of facilities granted by banks to micro, small, and medium-sized companies jumped by 5.4%, during the first half of this year, equivalent to 350 million dinars, compared to six months in 2024, according to data from the central bank,
According to the data, micro, small-sized, and medium-sized companies obtained financing worth 6.847 billion dinars, during the first half of this year, an increase from 6.497 billion dinars, in the first half of 2024.
According to the data, micro and small-sized companies secured 2.881 billion dinars from facilities during this year, while the value of the facilities granted by the banking sector to these companies in the first half of 2024 reached approximately 2.512 billion dinars, according to the kingdom.
Medium-sized companies received about 3.966 billion dinars, in the period between January and the end of last June, compared to approximately 3.985 billion dinars, in six months of 2024, according to the latest data issued by the central bank.
The percentage of facilities provided by the banking system to micro, small, and medium-sized companies, to the total private sector facilities in the first half of this year, increased to 11%, compared to a percentage of 10.7%, in the same period from 2024, noting that the value of private sector facilities in nine months of this year reached approximately 35.5 billion dinars.
