Khaberni - After shaking the Lebanese circles, the security authorities in Beirut revealed the circumstances of the crime that claimed the lives of two children in Naameh town of Chouf district in Mount Lebanon governorate.

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces issued a statement revealing the details of the crime, stating that a "human monster" carried it out and confirming his arrest.
The statement mentioned that the accused, who is a neighbor's brother where the family lived, took the girl and her five-year-old brother to the sea, where he raped the girl and then killed her by hitting her head with a stone and hid her body under the rocks.
The authorities pointed out that the accused threw her brother - who started screaming - into the sea after hitting him in the face, believing him to be dead. However, he survived, as the security forces received a report that a child was found with scratches and wounds on his head and his clothes were wet.
Confession and Investigation
While the father of the child arrived with the mentioned suspect, the child saw him and indicated towards him that he was the one who took him and his sister to the sea, thereby exposing him.
The police patrol also found the girl's body, which was examined by the forensic doctor.
It is worth mentioning that the suspect confessed to his crime and was detained for further investigations.
The crime has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with calls for the severest punishments to be imposed on the perpetrator to serve as an example to others.
