Khaberni - Finance Minister Abdel Hakim Al-Shibli stated on Sunday that the economic growth figures have been reestimated to 2.7% this year instead of 2.9% due to the crisis and tensions occurring in the region.
Al-Shibli explained during a meeting with the Parliamentary Finance Committee that the impact of regional tensions on revenue was minimal, and that the financial performance in March was similar to the same month last year.
He added that one of the most important capital projects that expenditure was allocated to during the first quarter of this year was the Risha Gas Project.
Al-Shibli confirmed that Jordan completed the fifth review with the International Monetary Fund without any new burdens on the Jordanian economy.
