Khaberni - Ivanka Trump, daughter of US President Donald Trump, sparked a broad reaction after appearing in an interview with the famous podcast Diary of a CEO, where she shed tears and cried emotionally while talking about her late mother Ivana Trump, and recalled the moment her husband Jared Kushner was diagnosed with cancer for the second time.
During the interview, which lasted about 90 minutes, Ivanka reminisced about her mother who died in 2022 at the age of 73 following an accidental incident at her home in New York, affirming that her absence left a big void in her life.
The American businesswoman could not hold back her tears during the talk, and said, "I had just left Washington. Our lives were changing, and Jared had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer for the second time, and then my mother died."
She added: "I am strong in endurance, and in separating my emotions. Therefore, psychotherapy was necessary for me."
Her mother Ivana's death in 2022 came just weeks after Kushner underwent a second surgery for cancer.
Her husband had fought a secret battle with thyroid cancer, undergoing surgery in 2019 while working at the White House to remove a tumor from his throat, and then he had a second surgery a few years later, according to The Sun British newspaper.
Ivanka described the moment she watched an assassination attempt on her father in Pennsylvania live on TV in July 2023 as a "real nightmare," where fear dominated the family, especially since her children were watching the situation.
She said seeing her father get up and leave safely was the moment she caught her breath again, but its psychological impact remained ingrained within her.
She also asserted that her father, despite his role and busy schedule, was always present in her life, and made sure to respond to her at all times, even during meetings or negotiations, considering that he always prioritized her.
It is noted that Ivanka is the second daughter of her father from his first wife.
Donald Trump has five children; from his first wife Ivana Trump, he had three children: Donald Trump Jr. (born 1977), Ivanka Trump (born 1981), and Eric Trump (born 1984), who have played prominent roles in managing the family business and public activities.
From his second marriage to Marla Maples, he was blessed with his daughter Tiffany Trump (born 1993), who has been known for her media presence and her studies in law.
From his current wife Melania Trump, he had his youngest son Barron Trump (born 2006), who is the youngest member of the family.
