Khaberni - Melania Trump, wife of the American president, confirmed that businessman Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex crimes, wasn't the one who introduced her to Donald Trump.
She said on Thursday, «The first time I met Epstein was in 2000 at an event with Donald». She added: «I had no relationship with Epstein (...). I am not one of Epstein's victims», asserting that these claims tarnish her reputation.
She emphasized the need «for the lies linking me to Epstein to end today».
The American millionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide in his cell in 2019, had for years run a network of sexual assaults that victimized dozens of young women and girls, while at the same time maintaining close relationships with high circles in politics, economy, and science.
