Khaberni - The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority launched, on Tuesday, a new advertising campaign titled: "Its Spirit Revives the Soul", in a move aiming to promote "Aqaba and Wadi Rum" as attractive tourist destinations throughout the year, and as part of its ongoing efforts to stimulate local tourism.
According to a statement by the Authority, Tourism and Youth Affairs Commissioner Thabit Al-Nabulsi confirmed that the campaign complements an initiative launched by the Authority in December 2025, noting that the current focus is on expanding the reach to target groups and enhancing the promotional impact through employing innovative advertising means in direct communication with the public.
Al-Nabulsi explained that the campaign included launching advertisements on 12 buses of public transportation in the capital, Amman, covering various areas, contributing to delivering the promotional messages to a wide segment of citizens. He noted that the buses started at the beginning of April, and will continue for three months, carrying visual messages that reflect the diversity of the tourism product in Aqaba and Wadi Rum, highlighting natural features and unique tourist experiences that encourage visiting them as an ideal choice for trips and relaxation. The campaign is part of an integrated strategy implemented by the Aqaba Authority, targeting the support of the tourism sector and enhancing domestic tourism movement, which positively reflects in stimulating the local economy and supporting various sectors related to it.
