Khaberni - Prime Minister Jaffer Hassan received on Tuesday Syrian Transport Minister Yarub Badr and Turkish Transport Minister Abdulqadir Ural Oğlu, in the presence of Transport Minister Nidal Qatamin.
The meeting emphasized the importance of the tripartite meeting held by the transport ministers of the three countries today in Amman, as a step towards enhancing regional cooperation in the sectors of land and sea transport, trade, logistical services, and rail connections.
It was also emphasized the importance of actualizing cooperation agreements between the three countries, setting clear mechanisms for implementing joint projects, and exchanging expertise in various transport fields; to serve the shared economic interests.
The joint ministerial committee for transport cooperation between Jordan, Syria, and Turkey held a meeting in the capital Amman today, Tuesday, attended by representatives from the public and private sectors and experts in transport and logistical services, where a tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed aimed at enhancing cooperation and integration in the transport sector between the three nations.
