Khaberni - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced, in coordination with the Traffic Management Department, the commencement of reconstruction works on a section of the Iydoun – Ajloun road next Saturday, which necessitates the closure of a 600-meter section to traffic flow, according to the approved schematic plan.
The ministry stated that an alternative diversion will be implemented for the road, to ensure traffic flow continuity during the implementation period, which begins at the petrol station intersection with the Iydoun - Ajloun road towards Al-Husn
and ends near Prince Rashid Hospital.
It also indicated that the works are part of efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance road efficiency, noting that the duration of the tender is 120 days, with the commencement order starting on March 24th last year, at a total cost of 155,000 dinars.
The ministry urged drivers to adhere to traffic guidelines and instructions and to use alternative routes, in order to ensure public safety and avoid congestion.
