AlDhurawi Asks the Government Does the Tomato Pass through Hormuz

Khaberni - Deputy Mohammad Al-Dhurawi has called on Prime Minister Jafar Hassan to be transparent with citizens about the economic situation in Jordan, in the light of regional developments, especially after the state of anxiety the citizens are experiencing.

Al-Dhurawi pointed out during a parliamentary session on Wednesday that markets have seen a rush for candles, lanterns, kerosene lamps, and gasoline, driven by anxious citizens.

He asked the government why tomato prices had risen in recent days, saying: «Does the tomato pass through Hormuz?»
