Khaberni - Mourns the Chairman of the Senate, Feisal Al-Fayez, the martyrs of the Public Security Directorate, Lieutenant Murad As'oud Mawajdeh, Sergeant Khaldoun Ahmad Al-Raqab, and Corporal Subhi Mohammad Dweikat, who were martyred this Wednesday morning while a security force from the Anti-Narcotics Department was raiding one of the dangerous wanted individuals involved in drug-related cases in the eastern areas of the capital, Amman.
Feisal Al-Fayez said, "At the Senate, as we mourn the three martyrs of our nation who were killed by treacherous bullets while performing their duty, we extend our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the families of the martyrs, their relatives, their lovers, and all members of our armed forces and security services. We pray to God Almighty to envelop them in His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to grant their families and kin patience, solace, and proper condolences, wishing a speedy recovery to their injured colleague."
He added, "At this time when we pray to God Almighty, in these blessed days of the Holy month of Ramadan, for the mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs of the nation, we demand a firm crackdown on drug dealers and traffickers, and to confront firmly anyone who tries to tamper with the country's security and stability. May the swords of our armed forces and security apparatus always be ready for every terrorist, corrupt, and lawbreaker."
Feisal Al-Fayez confirmed that the heroism and sacrifices of our armed forces and security services inspire pride and honor among Jordanians. They always give their utmost in preserving the security and stability of the nation, stressing that this country will remain strong under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, its loyal people, and our armed and security forces.
He also pointed out that the Senate reaffirms its pride and honor in our armed forces and security services, as they are the protectors of the homeland and its strong fortress, the knights who guard the fronts, and those who tirelessly ensure the nation's security. They have the Council's utmost appreciation and respect for their sacrifices, courageously and energetically facing the corrupt, aggressive, and outsiders of the law.
Feisal Al-Fayez confirmed that our armed forces and security services will always remain committed to the covenant, dedicating themselves to the homeland and its leader, His Majesty King Abdullah II, that the nation's flag shall always fly high. At the same time, he pointed out that "the Senate is utterly convinced that the treacherous hand that committed this heinous crime will receive just retribution, as this Hashemite Jordanian sanctuary has never been negligent of the blood of its sons."
