Fuel Guild Our stock of oil derivatives is reassuring and supply is continuous

Khaberni - Nahar Saideat, the head of the fuel station owners union, confirmed on Monday that there is sufficient and reassuring stock of oil derivatives in Jordan, indicating that there are regular arrivals of oil and gas.

Saideat added that the gas stock is "very reassuring," and that a ship was unloaded in Aqaba ten days ago.

He explained that there is a strategic stock of oil derivatives that lasts for 70 days, divided between 40 days at marketing companies and 30 days at the government.

He emphasized that the government's strategic reserve has not been touched to date; because things are going "very well".

He clarified that a diesel ship with a load of 55,000 tons was unloaded in Jordan two days ago and there is an incoming ship from India, pointing out that there is no delay on the oil derivatives on the way.

He mentioned that Jordan imports 10 million barrels of oil daily from Iraq, and that the quantity can be increased, adding that the presence of the Jordanian Petroleum Refinery increases the strategic security; as the oil sources are close to Jordan.
