Khaberni - Petra Archaeological Reserve recorded good tourist activity during the first three days of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, with a total of 2295 visitors from various nationalities.
According to official numbers from the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, the number of visitors on Friday was 595, distributed as follows: 115 foreigners, 9 Arab visitors, 146 Jordanians, and 325 residents.
On Saturday, the number of visitors increased to 861, including 176 foreigners, 55 Arabs, 427 Jordanians, and 7 visitors as part of the "Our Jordan is a Heaven" program, plus 203 residents.
On Sunday, the number of visitors reached 839, distributed among 431 foreigners, 28 Arabs, 253 Jordanians, and 127 residents.
These numbers indicate an improvement in the tourist movement in the Rose City during the holiday, especially with the increase in the number of foreign visitors on Sunday, reflecting the continued recovery of the tourism sector and the renewed interest in archaeological sites in Jordan.
