Khaberni - The Anbar governorate in western Iraq announced that its border outlets are ready to export about 200,000 barrels of oil daily, through tanker trucks along the Aqaba and Baniyas lines with Jordan and Syria.
The spokesperson for Anbar governorate, Moayed Al-Dulaimi, stated that the border outlets of Anbar, along the borders with Jordan, Syria, and Saudi Arabia, are considered secure, and are prepared to export oil and address the economic crisis amid the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. They are ready to export oil at a rate of (100-200) thousand barrels per day through tanker trucks, pointing out that these outlets will complement the Kirkuk-Jihan line with Turkey.
He added that the Iraqi oil line with Jordan, which extends from (Basra-Haditha-Aqaba), and the oil line with Syria (Kirkuk-Baniyas), play an important role in boosting Iraqi economy and addressing the economic crisis posed by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, if these lines are activated.
