Crown Prince Inaugurates Jerash Comprehensive Health Center Rehabilitation and Development Project

Khaberni  - His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, inaugurated on Monday the Jerash Comprehensive Health Center Rehabilitation and Development Project.

The project was executed upon his directive last year to enhance the quality of health services provided to the citizens in the governorate and to promote digital transformation in the health sector. It was established under an agreement between the Ministry of Health and the Himmatna Seha Association.

His Highness the Crown Prince listened to a briefing from the Minister of Health, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badour, and the association's president, Dr. Fadia Samara, about the project that serves more than 70,000 clients annually from Jerash Governorate and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Al-Badour stated that the project is part of the efforts to develop primary healthcare centers, as they are the first gateway for diagnosing and treating patients and for early detection of diseases, transforming them into modern and comprehensive models that provide their services around the week. This contributes to enhancing the health infrastructure in the Kingdom.

For her part, Dr. Samara explained that the project included expansion works for the center, the creation of new administrative and service facilities, and the development of the infrastructure to provide more efficient and organized primary healthcare services. New clinics were introduced, including internal medicine, telemedicine, orthopedics, and mental health, to meet the community's needs more broadly and inclusively.

She clarified that the project focused on improving the patient journey by organizing the entry and exit of visitors and reducing waiting time, thus enhancing privacy and operational efficiency.
