Khaberni - The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship announced that the "Sanad" app continues to record accelerated growth in the number of its users, having exceeded 2.7 million citizens who activated their digital identities, including about 400,000 active users daily.
The ministry said that these numbers reflect the app's presence in the daily lives of citizens, and their increasing reliance on it to access digital government services easily and quickly.
The ministry confirmed that this growth indicates an increasing trust in digital government services and reinforces reliance on them, in line with the directives of His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, and the follow-up of the National Council for Future Technology, aiming to offer a modern and secure digital government experience.
The ministry pointed out that the "Sanad" app has witnessed a series of updates and improvements recently, focusing on simplifying procedures and speeding up access to services, which contributed to increased usage efficiency and improved user experience.
The ministry highlighted that among the most significant updates was enabling self-activation of the digital identity through the app without the need to visit "Sanad" stations, in addition to services for changing phone numbers, resetting passwords electronically, and enhancing the display of digital documents, with the ability to access them offline using biometrics.
The improvements also included the development of electronic passport services, vehicle renewals, digital payments, and digital signing services, enhancing reliance on electronic government services.
The ministry affirmed its continued development of the "Sanad" app within an integrated digital government system, aiming to save time and effort and facilitate transaction processing inside and outside the kingdom.
