Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate, Amer Sartawi, said on Wednesday that the Public Security Directorate has raised its level of alert to deal with ongoing events in the region and to activate emergency plans.
He added during a press briefing for the armed forces and public security at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management that the Public Security Directorate has prepared educational media products, publishing tips and preventive guidelines that contribute to protecting citizens and property and increasing awareness among the citizens.
Sartawi confirmed that all civil defense personnel have activated the state of alert and emergency plans have been activated, in addition to launching alarms in coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces.
Sartawi pointed out that 207 incidents of shrapnel and object falls were recorded across various provinces of the kingdom, confirming limited material damages resulting from the falls of shrapnel objects that affected homes and vehicles.
