Amman Arab University Participates in a Humanitarian Initiative to Support Modest Families in Giza District

Khaberni  - Stemming from the national and humanitarian role of Amman Arab University and embodying its mission to serve the local community and enhance the values of social solidarity, the university participated, represented by the Dean of Student Affairs, in implementing a humanitarian initiative in Giza District, in cooperation with the Jordanian Pharmacists Syndicate – Community Service Committee, within the framework of enhancing community partnership and supporting less fortunate groups.

The initiative saw active participation from the university’s students and the staff of the Dean of Student Affairs, where Goodwill parcels and financial aid were distributed to several modest and less fortunate families at Um Qusair School for Boys and the Basilia Mixed School, thus delivering support directly and in an organized manner to those who deserve it, and alleviating the living burdens on the beneficiary families amid the current economic conditions.

The management of Amman Arab University affirmed that this participation is in line with its vision aimed at instilling a culture of volunteer work and social responsibility among its students, and enhancing their involvement in humanitarian initiatives that contribute to building a cohesive society based on cooperation and solidarity. The university also appreciated the pioneering role played by the Jordanian Pharmacists Syndicate in organizing and supporting purposeful humanitarian initiatives, reaffirming its commitment to continue cooperation with various civil society institutions, and supporting activities that make a tangible positive impact on the lives of individuals and the local community.
