Taha Darwish from Petra University a member of the National Team for Media Literacy by decision of the Prime Ministry

Khaberni - The Prime Minister issued a decision to form the National Team for Media Literacy and Informatics, in a step aimed at enhancing the concepts of media awareness and developing skills in handling digital content at the national level.
The team included, as an expert, the lecturer in the College of Media at Petra University, Taha Darwish, alongside the Media and Communications Advisor Bayan Al-Tal, based on the recommendation of the Minister of Government Communication.
The formation of the team comes as part of the efforts aimed at developing tools for dealing with the digital space, and enhancing the efficiency of institutions and individuals in verifying information and facing challenges associated with modern media.
Darwish has professional and academic experience that spans more than thirty years in the fields of journalism, communication, and digital media. He has been working as a lecturer at Petra University since 2021, and previously held the position of Editor-in-Chief at the Jordan Media Institute, and worked as a media consultant for a number of regional institutions.
Darwish holds a master's degree in Media and Communication from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom, and a bachelor's degree in journalism from Yarmouk University. He has also contributed to authoring and reviewing specialized books and participated in international conferences dealing with topics of digital identity and cybersecurity.
