Khaberni - In a step that embodies Amman Arab University's commitment to establishing religious and faith values, within a comprehensive system concerned with building the students’ character academically, morally, and spiritually, represented by the Dean of Student Affairs, Amman Arab University organized the university Umrah trip for the academic year 2025/2026 under the theme: "In the Steps of Light", with the participation of (27) students and (5) members of the teaching and administrative staff from various faculties and departments of the university.

The faith-based program included a stay of two nights in the precincts of the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, where the participants performed the prayers and visited the sacred chamber, feeling the religious atmosphere that contributes to deepening the connection with Islamic values. Subsequently, the delegation headed to Mecca to perform the rites of Umrah, and they stayed for six days in the sanctuary of the Grand Mosque, in an atmosphere dominated by reverence and tranquility, providing the participants with the opportunity to devote themselves to worship and enhance the spiritual dimension in their lives.

The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Rami Hanandeh, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, and Mr. Malik Aliyan from the Student Activities Department, who supervised the implementation, organization, and monitoring of the program and student affairs, ensuring a safe and organized environment that contributes to the fulfillment of the religious and educational goals of the trip, and reflects the university's concern for caring for its students in various activities. Dr. Mohammed bin Tarif, the Dean of Student Affairs in Mecca, visited the students and assured their well-being, emphasizing Amman Arab University's commitment to continuous direct communication with its students and their ongoing follow-up, pointing out that these qualitative initiatives contribute to enhancing moral values, establishing a sense of institutional belonging, and developing a sense of responsibility and commitment among them.

This trip comes as part of Amman Arab University’s vision to support extracurricular activities with a religious and cultural dimension, and its belief in the importance of building a balanced student character academically and spiritually, through qualitative programs that contribute to refining students' personalities and enhancing their identity, positively reflecting on their academic journey and future role in serving the community.
