Khaberni - Hamza Al-Tubasi, today Monday, takes the constitutional oath as a member of the House of Representatives pursuant to the provisions of Article (80) of the Constitution.
The President of the Independent Electoral Commission's Board of Commissioners, Musa Al-Maaytah, has informed the House of Representatives that Hamza Hani Al-Tubasi will be the new representative in the Assembly, following the vacancy of the seat of the representative Mohammed Jarrah.
Al-Maaytah mentioned in his letter sent to the President of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi: "Referring to your letter number 405/20/5 dated 2026/2/11, which includes notifying the commission of the vacancy of the seat of the representative from the Labor Party, Mohammed Ahmed Ali Jarrah, and pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (3) of Article (58) of the House of Representatives Election Law No. (4) for the year 2022 and its amendments, the Independent Election Commission has decided in its resolution number (4) dated 2026/2/11 to consider the candidate following him from the same category and list as Mr. Hamza Hani Muhammad Khalil."
The House of Representatives discusses, on Monday, the decision of the Energy and Mineral Resources Committee, which includes the gas law project for the year 2025 (starting from Article (12)).
The House of Representatives also discusses the decision of the Economy and Investment Committee, which includes the insurance contracts law project for the year 2025.
