MP Tamara Nasr AlDin Rationalizing Spending in Exceptional Circumstances Must Also Include Major Files

Khaberni - MP Tamara Nasr Al-Din posted on her page today a stance in which she confirmed that government decisions related to rationalizing consumption and controlling spending under the current regional circumstances represent an important and required step at this time, as they are part of a responsible national approach in managing resources and enhancing the financial readiness of the state.

Nasr Al-Din said that rationalizing spending should not be limited to daily operational expenses only, but should also extend to major files that have a direct impact on the public treasury, including the costs of unused energy and financial obligations associated with it.

In her post, she added that she had addressed this file through a parliamentary query that discussed the costs of unused energy and ways to alleviate the financial burden they impose, in line with the need to enhance spending efficiency and protect public funds, especially under the exceptional circumstances that require the highest levels of responsibility and discipline.

Nasr Al-Din emphasized that spending efficiency during times of challenges is not just an administrative matter, but a comprehensive national responsibility that necessitates reviewing financial priorities and seriously dealing with every item that places pressure on the public budget.
