Khaberni - Egyptian actor Mohamed Emam revealed that his character in the series "The King" will experience three different romantic relationships, each with its own flavor, within events that bring together social conflict and the world of money and influence, within the framework of the Ramadan drama race of 2026.
Emam posted via his official account a photo from the shooting set with Egyptian actress Amy Salem, and commented: "Don’t think they are just two love stories.. no, there are 3 and maybe more.. each one is stranger than the last.. wait for Haj Metwally, I mean Hamza Al-Dabbah, in Ramadan God willing.. this series is a tribute to all the great works we grew up on." The series revolves around "Hamza", a simple young man living on the fringes of life, working hard jobs to secure his livelihood, before events lead him into the world of money, influence, and covert deals, where interests intertwine within complex networks of relationships. As events escalate, Hamza faces organized gangs that do not recognize the law, and he finds himself amid an internal conflict between his ambition and his identity, and an external conflict imposed by a new reality filled with risks and family disputes, which puts him before two choices: to stay at the top regardless of the cost, or to save himself before it's too late.
The series is directed by Sherine Adel, with a screenplay by Mohamed Salah El-Azab, and stars, alongside Mohamed Emam, a group of actors including Mirna Jameel, Amr Abdel Jalil, Hanan Motawie, Sami Maghawry, and Hajjaj Abdul Azim. The work is scheduled to consist of 30 episodes, relying on the escalation of events and the intertwining of daily conflicts, combining romance, excitement, and social drama.
