Khaberni - The governor of Karak, Qabalan Al-Sharif, stated on Tuesday that the cable car project in the governorate has entered the final stages of implementation following a precise follow-up by the Jordanian team that previously implemented the "Ajloun Cable Car" project.
Al-Sharif clarified through "Al-Mamlaka" that the project was ordered to be executed during a previous visit by the Prime Minister Ja'far Hassan, anticipating it would soon be operational.
He added that the Karak governorate has seen tangible improvements in the areas of development and infrastructure, emphasizing that the current government is distinguished by thorough field follow-up through successive visits and precise digital auditing on completion rates and presenting accurate developmental reports.
Al-Sharif pointed out that this follow-up enhances the level of partnership between state institutions and the governorate, with periodic reports being presented and responses followed up immediately by the Ministry of Interior, ensuring ongoing coordination between all concerned ministries.
His Majesty King Abdullah II directed the government on November 2, 2025, to establish a cable car project in Karak to boost tourism activities and enrich the experiences of visitors to archaeological sites.
