Civil Aviation Air Traffic in Jordanian Airspace and Kingdoms Airports Experiences Notable Recovery

Khaberni - The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Captain Dhaifallah Al-Farajat, confirmed that the air traffic in Jordanian airspace and Queen Alia International Airport is witnessing a noticeable recovery and a gradual return to the operational programs of global and Arab airlines, affirming the continuity of growth in flight numbers better than it was at the start of recent events.

Captain Al-Farajat stated that a number of leading airlines have resumed their flights to and from Queen Alia International Airport after a temporary halt, with notably the following companies
 * From the United Arab Emirates: Air Arabia (from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah), Emirates Airlines, and Etihad Airways.
 * From the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: FlyNas
 * From the Arab Republic of Egypt: Air Cairo and EgyptAir.
Ethiopian Airlines
TAROM Romanian
Oman Air

 * The national carriers: Royal Jordanian, Jordan Aviation, Fly Jordan, and Arab Wings.

Al-Farajat pointed out that the language of numbers reflects this positive rise, presenting the following comparison of aircraft movements (landings and departures) at Queen Alia International Airport:
 * Before the events (February 27, 2026): Movement was recorded at about 220 flights daily.

 * The current daily average: Reached 130 flights daily.

 * The most notable day in terms of operational density was March 27 since the start of the events with 170 flights, confirming the stability and accelerated growth in restoring air traffic to better levels
where the current operation constitutes 59% of the normal operation.

Regarding air traffic management, Captain Al-Farajat praised the pivotal role played by the air traffic management teams of the commission, saying:
> "Our teams handle all transit aircraft through the kingdom's airspace or those landing and departing our airports with utmost professionalism around the clock. The work is carried out with extreme precision and high-level coordination with all relevant authorities in the kingdom to ensure the highest standards of safety and aviation security."

Al-Farajat emphasized that the commission closely follows regional developments, affirming that Jordanian airspace is managed according to international standards, and that the high readiness of Jordanian personnel is the real safety valve for the continuous flow of air navigation and the movement of tourist and commercial traffic through Jordan's air gateway.
