Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, today Saturday, held talks focused on ways to enhance joint work in various fields, particularly economic, investment, industrial, and military areas, serving mutual interests and supporting peace efforts in the region.
During both bilateral and expanded consultations at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul attended by HRH Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, the King's chief advisor for religious and cultural affairs and his personal envoy, the leaders emphasized the importance of building on the outcomes of the recent joint economic committee meeting hosted by Amman.
His Majesty the King awarded the Turkish President the Hussein bin Ali Necklace, in recognition of his efforts in strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and deepening the outstanding relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
