Khaberni - The esteemed Kuwaiti actress Suad Abdullah revealed in rare media statements about the poor health condition of her colleague and compatriot Hayat Al-Fahad.
Abdullah said in a phone call with "Marina FM" radio: "Hayat Al-Fahad is one of my own people, we both started in the sixties and connected through our black and white works, and since that time we have agreed, disagreed, and made up with each other, but if we ever needed each other, we immediately provide support."
She added: "She is a sister from my family, not easy on me, I went to her at the hospital and talked to her and she did not feel my presence, her image remains fixed in my mind. She was the keeper of a secret I did not refuse to reveal to anyone, this is loyalty, and we actors belonging to the same generation still have a strong connection to this day."
She commented on an alleged old dispute between them, saying: "We are not angels, but the dispute between me and Hayat was never big."
Hayat Al-Fahad in a health setback
Suad Abdullah's statements followed a press release from "Al-Fahad Foundation", responsible for monitoring the works of artist Hayat Al-Fahad, about the latest developments in her health condition.
The foundation published a picture of the Gulf star and accompanied it with a straightforward comment about her health condition to curb the rumors, confirming that Hayat Al-Fahad returned to Kuwait after a treatment journey in the United Kingdom, which was not successful due to the severity of the stroke she suffered.
The statement from the foundation added that "based on medical reports, it was decided that Al-Fahad would continue her treatment in Kuwait, and she is still under medical care in the intensive care unit, and based on the recommendations of the medical team, visits are currently prohibited."
