Khaberni - Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab issued a new official statement, revealing the latest developments of the crisis concerning her accounts on social media platforms and her YouTube channel, confirming that she has never sold or relinquished any of her official pages at any time.
The statement, released by her lawyer, Counselor Yasser Kantoush, coincides with the investigations conducted by the Public Prosecutor's Office in case number 455 of 2025, misdemeanor economic Basateen, registered against the person responsible for managing the artist's social media pages, accused of seizing her official YouTube channel and profiting from its management without any legal right.
The statement clarified that what has been circulated on social media about the sale of the pages is not based on any official documents, pointing out that these news came as part of attempts attributed to the person under investigation to profit from the channel, while the artist has not made any legal disposition authorizing the sale or delegation.
Sherine Abdel Wahab confirmed that the ownership of all her digital accounts is officially registered in her name, as confirmed by official records and investigations of the Public Prosecutor's Office, warning the public against dealing with any pages or parties claiming ownership or management of the artist's accounts without legal basis.
Her lawyer's office emphasized that any dealings with Sherine Abdel Wahab's pages, whether on YouTube, TikTok, or the X platform, must be exclusively through the artist or her legal representative only, confirming that legal actions will be taken against anyone who violates this.
This development comes in conjunction with Sherine Abdel Wahab achieving a new judicial victory, after the Court of Appeals upheld her acquittal from accusations of slander and defamation in the case filed by her former business manager, a step that enhances her legal standing during the current period.
