Khaberni - The value of the facilities granted to individuals increased by one and twenty percent during the third quarter of last year, compared to the months from April to the end of June 2025, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.
The total individual loans in the third quarter of 2025 reached around 14.328 billion dinar, with an increase of 163 million dinar compared to the same period of 2024, when it reached 14.156 billion dinar, noting that about 80% of these facilities were in favor of males, and the rest were facilities for females.
The number of borrowers reached 1.646 million borrowers/loans during the months from July to the end of September of the last year, with the male share reaching about 78% compared to 1.630 million borrowers/loans in the second quarter of 2024.
On the other hand, the total facilities granted by banks operating in the local market to micro, small, and medium enterprises in the third quarter of last year reached 3.388 billion dinar, down by ten million dinar from the previous period of the same year, when it reached 3.398 billion dinar.
Regarding the ratio of total facilities granted to micro, small, and medium enterprises to the total private sector facilities for the period from July to September, it was 10.7%, compared to 10.8% in the second quarter of 2025.
