Mohammad Nour comments on the imprisonment of a follower who defamed him on social media

Khaberni - In his first comment on the issuance of a verdict in his favor in the lawsuit he filed against one of his followers, accusing her of defamation via "Facebook", artist Mohammad Nour, star of the "Wama" team, announced that the court sentenced the accused to three months in prison, and fined her 20,000 Egyptian pounds as temporary civil compensation.

Nour directed a message through his personal account on "Facebook" urging his audience not to remain silent towards anyone who transgresses against them, saying: "Please everyone, anyone who wrongs you, writes against you even a bad comment or makes a video insulting you, never give up your rights. This happened to me and I was defamed with untrue words".

Mohammad Nour mentioned that as soon as he was harmed, he went to the internet detective department, which took all necessary measures in cooperation with the prosecution and the economic court, saying: "Thank God, the verdict was issued to imprison the accused for three months with labor, after the prosecution and the court proved her guilt, and the sentence was successfully executed."

Mohammed Nour concluded his message by thanking all the jurisdictions concerned with justice and protection of rights, emphasizing the importance of resorting to legal action when subjected to any abuse.

The arrest of the accused for insulting Mohammad Nour

The security forces had arrested the accused of insulting and defaming Mohammad Nour, in execution of a verdict issued by the Cairo Economic Court, which sentenced her to three months in prison and fined her 20,000 Egyptian pounds as temporary civil compensation, on the background of her accusation of harming him and defaming him on social media platforms.

It is worth mentioning that Mohammad Nour released the song "Nour", the first track of his new album "Warrini", which features lyrics by Alim, music composed by Amro El Shazly, arrangement by Hisham El Banna, and the album includes six songs: "Nour", "From Saturday to Thursday", "Like my state", "We were intending good", "Show me", and "Ahlan and Sahlan".
