Khaberni - The Mobilization Department and the People's Army commenced on Sunday the implementation of conscription procedures for those obliged to perform military service for the first batch of 2026, within the framework of plans and programs approved by the General Command of the Armed Forces, ensuring smooth and precise operations in accordance with the highest standards of organization and discipline.
These procedures will last for ten days and include receiving the conscripts, verifying official lists, checking personal data, measuring height and weight, handing over conscripts' civil documents, opening necessary records for them, and issuing appointment certificates, ensuring the safety of procedures and the accuracy and proper endorsement of the data.
The head of the Mobilization Department and the People's Army stressed the importance of these procedures as a fundamental phase in organizing the recruitment process and achieving the goals of military service, emphasizing the necessity of adhering to the highest levels of discipline and accuracy in their implementation, aligned with the directives of the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces aimed at enhancing readiness and improving the efficiency of the military service system.
He mentioned that these procedures are part of the continuous monitoring by the General Command, and their commitment to ensuring smooth work at all stages, achieving justice and transparency in dealing with the conscripts.
It should be noted that the first batch will begin training inside the Armed Forces Camp/Shuwayr on the first of February next year and will continue for three months, involving 2000 conscripts.
