Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli attack that targeted military infrastructure in southern Syria today; a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty, the integrity of its territory, and a flagrant breach of international law.
The official spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, affirmed the Kingdom’s absolute rejection and strong condemnation of this Israeli aggression, emphasizing the need to stop all Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, which constitute a violation of the United Nations Charter and Israel’s obligations under the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
Al-Majali reaffirmed the Kingdom’s support and full solidarity with Syria, its security, stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and citizens, calling on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, and obligate Israel to cease its provocative and unlawful attacks on Syria, to end its occupation of parts of Syrian territory, and to compel it to respect the rules of international law and the decisions of international legitimacy.
