Egyptian ValU Launches Services in Jordan with Specialized Finance License

Khaberni  - The Egyptian company «ValU for Consumer Finance» has received final approval from the Central Bank of Jordan to officially launch its services in Jordan under the specialized finance license; to offer customers convenient financial solutions, according to a disclosure published on the Egyptian Stock Exchange website this Monday.

«ValU» stated that it plans to start its operations in Jordan during the first quarter of 2026; marking its full launch in the market after completing all regulatory and operational requirements.

«ValU» had received preliminary approval last year to launch its services there, and this step is a milestone in its strategy for regional growth.

Regarding its leadership structure to manage its operations in Jordan, ValU mentioned that Mothanna Gharaibeh, the former Minister of Investment in Jordan, will take over as the chairman of ValU Jordan's board, while Mohamed Al-Yousef has been appointed as the CEO of «ValU» Jordan.

«ValU» is a financial services technology platform, offering comprehensive financial services to individuals and businesses, including buy now pay later services, and was established under the sponsorship of «EFG Holding» in 2017.

In June last year, the Egyptian Stock Exchange welcomed the shares of «ValU», after «Amazon» activated its right to acquire a direct stake in the company.

«ValU» owns about one quarter of the market share in consumer finance in Egypt.
