Khaberni - The number of registered companies last year increased by 49% compared to 2019, and by 19% compared to 2024, according to statistics from the Companies Control Department.
According to statistical data from the Companies Control Department, the total registered capital last year exceeded 453 million dinars, with 7604 companies registered last year, compared to 6408 companies in 2024, and 5088 companies in 2019.
The highest number of registered companies in terms of number were limited liability companies, amounting to 5586 companies, which represented 73.5% of the total registered capital, valued at over 167 million dinars.
The number of companies that were dissolved or had their registrations cancelled decreased by 27% from 2024, with a reduction of 1334 from 1821, and by 76% from 2019, where the number was 5557 companies.
The rate of increase in registered capital rose by 186% from 2024, with 1518 companies increasing their capital, valued at over 1.2 billion dinars, while 224 companies reduced their capital to a value of approximately 205 million dinars.
The rate of new capital formation increased by 875% from 2019, and 190% from 2024, with a value exceeding 1.282 billion dinars.
