Khaberni - The Faculty of Engineering at Amman Al-Ahliyya University participated in the opening meeting for the project of the national system for standards and certifications of facility trainers, which was held at Hussein Technical University last week, as part of the MOVE-HET II program, implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in partnership with the Government of Canada.
The meeting was attended by the representative of the College of Engineering at Amman Al-Ahliyya University, Engineer Munira Al-Tayeb, the Assistant Dean for Field Training.
The project aims to design and build an accredited national system for standards and certifications of facility trainers in Jordan, contributing to bridging the gap between educational outcomes and labor market needs, and developing and standardizing the practical training system within facilities, through an active partnership that brings together public, private, and academic sectors.
The meeting formed a coordination platform for launching joint efforts among the concerned parties, discussing the general framework of the project, its objectives, implementation stages, and the expected role of the partners in building a sustainable national system that ensures the quality of practical training and its alignment with the actual requirements of the labor market.
