Khaberni - Mohannad Al-Khatib, the advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Director of the Unified Admissions Coordination Unit, said on Tuesday that the total number of applications submitted for scholarships and loans during the year 2025 reached 83,389 students.
Al-Khatib added that the total number of students expected to be nominated for scholarships and loans reached 56,000 students.
He pointed out that the number of scholarship and loan applications eligible for competition reached 77,967 applications, noting that the number of applications that were frozen due to a violation of one of the benefit conditions amounted to 5,422 applications.
He explained that the electronic objections process will begin on the calculated points, and the calculated points for the students who submitted applications will be announced on Wednesday evening, while the process of submitting applications for humanitarian cases will start on Thursday morning and continue until Saturday evening.
He indicated that the number of those who met the conditions for benefiting from the teachers' honor scholarships reached 8,216, while the number of students benefiting from the National Aid Fund reached 12,299.
