Jordan and Qatar Renew Their Condemnation of Iranian Assaults on Their Countries and Other Arab States

Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, renewed on Monday, Jordan and Qatar's condemnation of Iranian assaults on their countries and other fraternal Arab states, affirming their full solidarity in facing these attacks which constitute a breach of international law and principles of good neighborliness, and an assault on the sovereignty of the states.

Safadi and Sheikh Mohammed discussed during talks held in Doha the repercussions of the serious escalation in the region, and the prospects of activating diplomacy and dialogue to end it on the basis that preserves the region’s security and stability and ensures respect for international law and state sovereignty.

Safadi and Sheikh Mohammed confirmed their continued joint efforts to stabilize Gaza and facilitate immediate and sufficient humanitarian aid to the sector.

Safadi and Sheikh Mohammed warned of the implications of Israel’s continuation of its illegitimate measures that undermine the chances of achieving a just and comprehensive peace, which the two-state solution that ends the occupation and embodies an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on Palestinian national territory as its only path.

Safadi and Sheikh Mohammed confirmed the depth of the strategic fraternal relations that link the two brotherly countries and their stand together in the face of challenges. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various fields in execution of the directions of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries, serving their interests and enhancing regional security and stability.
