Khaberni - The Egyptian artist Mohamed Emam commented on the controversy sparked on social media platforms lately about the highest-paid artist in the artistic field, after the statements by Ahmed El Awadi in which he described himself as the highest paid and most watched, which faced a wide wave of criticism.
Emam confirmed on his «Facebook» page that his father, the leader Adel Emam, is still the highest paid in the Arab world. He wrote: «None of us can come close to his figure, there are major stars in cinema who bring in the highest revenues and brilliant stars who tickle the world in series and are paid the highest wages».
Emam pointed out that his post was a joke with his friends and fans, and that he did not intend to cause any commotion, affirming the mutual respect between him and his colleagues in the art scene.

In the artistic field, Mohamed Emam takes part in the upcoming Ramadan season with the series «The King», a social drama featuring Hanan Motawie, Amr Abdel Gelil, Emad Rashad, and Mirna Jamil, written by Mohamed Salah El Azb and directed by Sherine Adel.
