Because of Tamer Hosny Basma Boussel Sues a Fortune Teller Accused of Causing His Illness

Khaberni - The artist Basma Boussel has filed a lawsuit against the famous fortune teller named "Kabi Abdullah", after the latter published claims that she was linked to the illness of her ex-husband, the artist Tamer Hosny, especially after he underwent a partial nephrectomy in November (Tishreen Al-Thani) last year.

Basma has taken legal action based on these accusations, asserting that they represent a form of defamation, slander, and libel that affects her personal and professional reputation.

Basma Boussel’s legal team clarified in the lawsuit petition that "Kabi" had posted video clips on social media platforms containing false and unfounded allegations and insults, also targeting women in Morocco in an offensive manner, which prompted the competent authorities to initiate a criminal investigation into the incident and take legal actions against the fortune teller and anyone contributing to the spread of these false news.

This case is an extension of a series of rumors previously spread by "Kabi" about other artists, notably Mai Ezz El Din and the late folk singer Ismail Al Lailthy.

The fortune teller had previously stated that Basma Boussel deliberately wore the crown in spite of Tamer Hosny's health condition, indicating that she is "Moroccan" and was keen on taking terrible revenge on him after the separation.

In another context, Basma Boussel was keen on supporting Tamer Hosny during his health crisis, confirming in television statements on the sidelines of the "The Best" awards ceremony that he was showing notable improvement, and that she prayed for his full recovery, reassuring the public about his condition.

In the artistic realm, Basma Boussel is venturing into her first acting experience through the movie "Big Rami" with Ramez Jalal, where she plays the leading female role and portrays a girl who has a love relationship with Ramez's character since childhood, which evolves over time.

The film features Mohamed Abdel Rahman "Tota", Mohamed Anwar, Nesreen Amin, Mahmoud Hafez, and Huda El Etriby, and is written by Farouk Hashem and Mustafa Omar, directed by Mahmoud Karim, and produced by Walid Sabry.
