Khaberni - Tihani Al-Salameen, the Director of Education for Petra District, in coordination with the Commissioner of Petra District, decided to delay the start time on Thursday for students, administrative and teaching staff, and directorate employees to 9:00 AM.
A statement from the Petra District Education Directorate states:
Due to unexpected weather conditions and the possibility of frost and icing, and to ensure the safety of our student children, the honorable Director of Education for Petra District, Dr. Tihani Al-Salameen, in coordination with the honorable Commissioner of Petra District, decided to delay the start time of work tomorrow, Thursday, the 18th of December 2025, for students, administrative and teaching staff, and directorate employees to precisely 9:00 AM.
