Khaberni - The director of military media in the Jordanian army, Brigadier General Mustafa Al-Hayari, confirmed that the army is still performing defensive tasks under the name "Operation Shield of Jordan," aiming to protect the homeland and prevent any loss of life.
Al-Hayari stated during a press briefing from the National Center for Security and Crisis Management today, Saturday, that Iran and some factions in the region are directly targeting the kingdom's territory without any justification.
He added that the Iranian attacks constitute a violation of the kingdom's sovereignty and are condemned and rejected.
He revealed that Iran has targeted Jordan with 281 missiles and drones since the start of the war, and Jordan has been able to intercept 261 missiles and drones, while unable to intercept 20 of them.
