Khaberni - Artist Hassan Iskandrani experienced a painful accident while overseeing home improvement works in his Jeddah residence, where he suffered severe injuries to his foot and thighs due to a marble-cutting rocket slipping from a worker’s hand, leading to the amputation of part of his foot.
The Saudi artist was urgently transported to the hospital, where the medical team intervened to perform a precise surgery that lasted about 12 hours, successfully restoring the injured part of the foot, reconnecting the arteries, veins, and nerves, and stopping the bleeding.
In a post on his Instagram account, Iskandrani confirmed that his health is stable and he is under meticulous medical supervision, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the medical team and to his audience and colleagues in the artistic community who reached out to check on his health.
Iskandrani praised the doctors' fast response and their precision in handling the situation, affirming that the precise surgery was crucial in saving his foot and maintaining a stable condition.
The incident received wide interaction on social media, with many prayers and wishes for his swift recovery, amid anticipation to follow his upcoming artistic works after recovery.
Hassan Iskandrani, whose full name is Hassan Abdelrahim Al-Qurashi, is a Saudi artist from the Taif governorate in the western part of the Kingdom. He began his artistic journey at the age of ten with his twin brother Hussein, forming the Iskandrani band and participating in national and private events across western Saudi Arabia.
Hassan belongs to an artistic family, where his father, Abdelrahim Al-Qurashi, was an old artist, and his brothers Hussein, Turki, and Mohammed are also active in the artistic field, providing him with a comprehensive artistic environment from a young age.
He collaborated with prominent artists like Talal Maddah, Mohammad Abdu, and Omar Kdars, in addition to working with famous poets such as Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsen, and Ibrahim Khafaji.
Hassan Iskandrani is proficient in Taif Majroor and Hijazi melodies, has extensive knowledge of musical scales and music theory, and is skilled in playing the oud, violin, and kanun. He has released several albums that included national and romantic songs.
